On the morning of November 14, 2022, the wholly-owned subsidiary of SIDTEK., SIDTEK held a rooftop ceremony for the 12 inch silicon based OLED micro display module project factory building at the project site. The project site was filled with colorful flags and joy. Mr. Zhao Zhengtao, Chairman of SIDTEK., Ms. Liu Shengfang, Deputy General Manager, and Mr. Hou Jianwei led the Anhui Xitai leadership team, project team members, and representatives of design, construction, and supervision units to attend the ceremony.
The design monthly production capacity of the Wuhu Micro Display Project is 18000 large 12 inch wafers, including the production of Micro OLED micro displays and module manufacturing. Key equipment has been ordered, and suppliers are all international leading manufacturers in the semiconductor and display equipment industry. It is expected to achieve the first product lighting by the end of 2023.
The successful completion of this project marks that SIDTEK will become a micro display manufacturing enterprise with both "8+12" inch micro display screens and supporting module production lines, helping SIDTEK seize the strategic high ground of core key components in the AR/VR industry and inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of the semiconductor new display industry.
